Pavel Hobza

Chemist, Czech Mind National Award Recipient, Member of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic
The road taken by the most-cited living Czech scientist, Pavel Hobza, began decades ago in the Olomouc Teaching Hospital's pharmacy, which was built by his father. The young boy was entranced by the smells of medicines and ointments there, and he would put on his father's white smock. The possibility of studying pharmacy was not possible in Olomouc, but chemistry was.

Milan Kolář
