The largest university-wide event aimed at popularising science and research usually takes place in June. Its goal is to bring visitors closer to science, from various angles and in an attractive way. Children and adults may try a number of experiments or solve mathematical quizzes. Most of the UP faculties participate in the programme; in the past it has involved presentations of movement activities for the physically impaired, panning for gold, legal anecdotes, a laser laboratory, and crafting unusual musical instruments.

Palacký University has been participating annually in this pan-European September event that aims to popularise science. The programme takes place at an interactive museum of science, the Fortress of Knowledge, at all individual faculties and the UP Botanical Garden. Visitors are allowed to explore laboratories and classrooms where they usually have no access. They may try various experiments or activities and find out what the UP scientists are engaged in and what results they are achieving.

The purpose of the event, organised by the future physicians from the Olomouc branch of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), is to bring attention to the problem of diabetes and to raise awareness about its prevention via public education. Participants may choose between one-kilometre-long and five-kilometre-long distance and learn about their physical conditions by measuring blood pressure and heart rate before the start of the run and then at the finish line. The event is organised on the occasion of World Diabetes Day also in other university cities.

The event promotes the natural sciences by means of sport activities and is organised by the UP Faculty of Science in cooperation with the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists in Olomouc. The participants compete in a cross-country run as well as in a sack race and puzzle solving.

This week-long workshop taking place in the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area is designated for secondary school students with above-average interest in environmental protection. It is organised by students from the Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences at the UP Faculty of Science. Its main goal is to introduce elementary principles and problems in environmental protection.

An event for primary and secondary schools. Natural sciences are promoted by means of a multiple-choice competition which is listed in contests organised by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. Its guarantor is the Department of Algebra and Geometry at the UP Faculty of Science. The questions are related to mathematics, physics, biology, science and technology, and chemistry, as well as history and linguistics.

A popularisation event organised by the UP Faculty of Law for the general public, offering topical themes in the area of law and legal science, such as property protection, indemnity, and inheritance rights. The Spring 2015 programme cycle organised under the motto "Ten Misconceptions About..." was meant to disprove selected legal myths and stereotypes that have taken root in popular opinion.
This popular-information campaign dedicated to the basics of oral hygiene is prepared by the Olomouc branch of the Czech Dental Students Association in cooperation with the UP Clinic of Dental Medicine. The future dentists advise people in the streets how to properly use dental appliances and motivate them toward better dental care. The annual Healthy Tooth in the Healthy Czech Republic takes place in all cities where dental faculties can be found.

This information campaign to promote a healthy lifestyle is organised annually by Palacký University together with the foundation For the Heart of Haná on the occasion of World Heart Day. The Upper Square in Olomouc hosts public presentations of movement activities, demonstrations of healthy nourishment, lessons in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, measurements of blood pressure and blood sugar. The UP Faculty of Medicine senior students participate in the organisation of this event.
